What is currently used

At the current stage, norenly uses technically necessary cookies, some functional storage values in the browser, and an anonymous visitor cookie for feed and analytics logic. No advertising or marketing tracking is currently active.

Necessary cookies

norenly_session

Session cookie for login, form protection, security checks, and the active server session. Without this cookie, sign-in and protected areas do not work reliably.

norenly_lang

Stores the selected interface language. Current duration is up to one year.

norenly_visitor

Anonymous visitor token for feed personalization, internal analytics deduplication, abuse protection, and consistent product recommendations. Current duration is up to one year.

norenly_mood

Stores the mood currently selected by guests for that day’s For You feed. Current duration is up to 30 days.

norenly_legal_versions_seen_v1

Remembers whether you have already seen a notice about updated legal pages.

norenly_guest_prompt_seen_v1

Remembers for the current session whether a notice for guests has already been shown.

Remembers for the current session whether the safety or behavior notice in messages has already been shown.

norenly_pending_reward_celebrations_v1

Temporary session storage so reward popups can still be shown correctly after page changes.

norenly_podcast_player_state

Remembers the podcast player state for the current session so audio can continue when pages change.

norenly_sensitive_post_{id}

Remembers for the current session whether you already confirmed the warning notice for a sensitive post.

These values support the user experience within norenly. At the current stage, they are not used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

External resources

When loading individual pages, external frontend resources may be delivered through jsDelivr or cdnjs, especially for Remix Icons, emoji pickers, ALTCHA, NSFWJS/TensorFlow, and the maintenance animation. In addition, cover art, RSS metadata, or audio files may be loaded on podcast pages from external hosting providers. In the process, technical access data such as IP address and browser information may be transmitted to the respective source. This integration serves presentation, bot protection, moderation, and media delivery, not advertising.

Legal basis

Technically required cookies and functional storage are used on the basis of the website’s functionality and the legitimate interest in secure, personalized, and stable operation, insofar as this is permitted under section 165 TKG 2021 and Art. 6 GDPR. Explicit consent should be obtained before activating optional categories.

Management and deletion

You can delete or block cookies and storage values through your browser settings. Please note that some functions of norenly may then be limited.

No marketing cookies currently active

There is currently no advertising or marketing tracking active on norenly. Internal analytics and recommendations currently run without external marketing cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated and the consent logic expanded accordingly.
